Learn how SAIDO can improve quality of life for those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Today at Covenant Living communities, we can do more than just care for older adults with Alzheimer’s and dementia – we can positively impact their quality of life without the use of drugs.
SAIDO Learning is a non-pharmacological intervention that has been shown to interrupt the disease and improve symptoms. The videos below shows residents becoming more engaged in daily activities and meals, more socially involved with caregivers and families, and more optimistic about daily living.
A heartfelt thank you to all our Legacy Circle members for your generosity and commitment to Covenant Living. Your support helps us continue providing exceptional care and services for years to come. We are truly grateful for your dedication to our mission and the future of our community. 💜 ... See MoreSee Less

Pamela Christensen, a resident of Rocklin, California, has been an active member of Bayside Covenant Church in Granite Bay since 1996. As the owner of Financial Disciplines for over 30 years and a Certified Financial Planner™, Pamela is deeply committed to faithful stewardship and philanthropy. She has served on the Covenant Living Board since 2010 and previously held the role of Pastor of Stewardship at Riverbend Church in Austin, Texas. With a master’s degree in theology from Western Seminary and undergraduate studies in Economics, Bible & Ethics, and Coaching, Pamela brings a well-rounded perspective to her work and service.
Pamela supports the Benevolent Care Fund because, as she explains:
“Jesus said in John 13:35, ‘By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.’ I strive to live in a way that reflects Christ’s teachings, so that others can see to whom I belong. My financial support and service on the Covenant Living Board help keep my focus on what matters most—being generous with my time, talents, and resources. The joy and fellowship I receive in return are just part of the blessing. I want to run the race God has set before me and one day hear, ‘Well done.’ Despite life’s ups and downs, I have been enormously blessed, and I feel called to share those blessings by faithfully giving back.”
